Deep dark crimson red in colour. Rich aromas of ripe red berries with spicy plums and lovely pomegranate molasses character, well integrated from its time in oak. This has an attractive silkiness on the palate, with the generous fruit flavours upfront being well balanced by the lightly drying tannins. Has loads of spicy plum and quite concentrated red berry fruit flavours with that hint of sweet pomegranate. It has a good textural quality with the slightly charry, gently drying tannins contributing to its length of flavour and good finish. It is a vibrant, well flavoured wine with the depth of fruit for enjoying now or after further cellaring.
