Since 1952 Schild hands have tended to a selection of Barossa Valley’s most treasured and rare vines, some amongst the oldest in the world. The wisdom passed down through the generations ensures each vineyard’s unique terroir is expressed in their premium collection of wines.

Featuring vibrant aromas of citrus, green apple, and subtle white peach with a hint of vanilla and oak. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with bright acidity, showcasing flavours of lemon, pear, and a slight creaminess, all balanced by a gentle oak influence. The finish is crisp and refreshing, leaving a pleasant aftertaste of citrus and a touch of nuttiness.

A wine that provides compelling evidence that the Barossa shouldn’t be overlooked for Chardonnay. This one works a treat, intense stone fruit and slightly nutty characters permeate the nose and palate. The subtle vanillin oak adds further complex notes creating a most attractive wine. Liked this as a drink now style but it will benefit from a few extra years. Drink: 2025 - 2031; Price: $50.00; Rating: 93 Points; Ray Jordan
