The Reschke history and its close relationship with Coonawarra began in 1906 with the establishment of a prime Hereford stud in the heart of the region. It is this cattle grazing heritage that is reflected in the Reschke bull logo, and the names of the premium Reschke wines.
This Pinot Noir is a medium bodied firmly structured wine with a round and textured palate. Expressions of vibrant crisp red fruit, tart plum, red cherry with overtones of textured forest floor and subtle oak complete a complex varietal cool climate Pinot Noir.
The Limestone Coast is well suited to this youthful and lively fruit driven Pinot Noir. This is a cracking wine for drinking in the relatively shorter time. Cherry and raspberry notes on the nose. Into the palate gentle forest-floor type flavours release to merge seamlessly with the supple plummy vanillin from the oak which is well handled and plays a subtle, understated role.
