Pike Road is the second label to the famous Elk Cove Vineyards that was founded in 1974 by Pat and Joe Campbell.  Pike Road is the name that runs adjacent to the vineyards and deep into the Oregon Coast Range Mountains. Outside the town of Yamhill on the western edge of the Willamette Valley.

You'll find delicate tropical notes of pineapple and guava mixed with pear, lemon curd, vanilla bean, lemongrass, and a long, seamless finish.

Smear a little lemon curd on a warm brioche straight from the oven to get an idea of the aromas this Chardonnay gives off. There’s also a small herbal note on the nose that’s like crushing chamomile between your fingers. The wine’s crisp, clean mouthfeel and brisk acidity make a nice foil for flavors like lemon and iced black tea with a dab of honey. Rating: 90 Points; Wine Enthusiast
