Miles from Nowhere is all about a passion for winemaking. Careful consideration was given to the best location & unique sites for the vineyards. Margaret River has such a diverse range of micro climates and unique terroir, so having the right foundation for the vineyards is fundamental to their success. Combine this with the talented, award winning winemaking team lead by Rory Clifton Parks, they have proven to produce exceptional wines that express varietal expression and the true character of the Margaret River region.
The majority of this wine, came from a vineyard in the Wilyabrup sub-region in Margaret River. Very low crops in 2022 have produced a wine, with rich citrus and stone fruit aromas and flavours.
Generous and highly flavoursome chardonnay from this warmer vintage. Rich lift of butterscotch and white peach dominated stone fruit. A little butterscotch and quince paste. Has a crunchy grapefruit and lemon zest combination working neatly with the crisp acidity. Drink: 2024 - 2030; Price: $30.00; Rating: 92 Points; Ray Jordan
Pale medium colour. Intense rock melon, butterscotch aromas. Creamy and supple with ample yellow stone fruits, fine lacy textures, and some marzipan notes. Very generous and appealing style - very much a vox pop wine. Rating: 92 Points; Andrew Caillard MW
