Medhurst Wines is the realisation of the long held and shared vision of Ross and Robyn Wilson to make wines of provenance from their Yarra Valley property. The Medhurst Vineyard was particularly chosen for its favourable micro-climate, north facing slopes, good drainage and magnificent aspect. Each Medhurst wine reflects the site and variety from which it is made and the season in which it is grown.  

All estate fruit; whole-bunch pressed to puncheons, hogsheads and barriques (20% new). 10–15% mlf. A very bright green gold. Bright and pure. White peach and grapefruit with the oak already well integrated into the wine. The palate is spot-on, even now, with terrific purity and vibrant, balanced acidity. Absolutely overdelivers at the price. That it will age well in the short term, at least, is a bonus.
