Jeanneret Wines was established in 1992 by the Jeanneret family who were led heart first into the regions’ vineyards. A passion for making wines purely for their own enjoyment organically expanded into a business and the Jeanneret cellar door was opened in October 1994.
A powerful zesty expression of Clare Valley riesling. Has two months on lees to pick up those beautiful flavour nuances while also adding weight to the palate without compromising the natural linear mouth feel. Has a chalky citrus tang with loads of persistence through to a long palate. Drink: 2024 - 2034; Price: $30.00; Rating: 93 Points; Ray Jordan
Another fine Riesling from the Clare Valley, from the impressive 2023 vintage. This is a blend of sub-regions, including Watervale, Sevenhill, Auburn and Stanley Flat. The time on lees here varied from 40 to 70 days. Very pale straw hue here. The aromas move through limes, spices, hints of chalk and florals. But it is the limes which keep reverberating through the wine. An alluring nose if ever there was one. Medium to good length here, the wine remains fresh, with a minerally backing. Six to twelve years. Drink: 2024 - 2036; Price: $30.00; Rating: 93 Points; Ken Gargett
Finely poised and firmly structured, the wine shows white flesh nectarine, lemon sorbet and jasmine nuances on the nose, leading to a captivating palate that's concentrated with restraint and finesse. Wonderfully structured and harmonious with a prolonged sleek finish. At its best: now to 2039; Price: $30.00; Rating: 94 Points; Sam Kim; Wine Orbit
