Dave Fletcher is a very talented young winemaker with an extreme passion for Nebbiolo. He is sourcing fruit from carefully selected Vineyards both here and in Northern Italy with the sole intention of producing his own style of single Vineyard Nebbiolo. Dave respects the tradition of the variety but prefers to make his wines in a modern style with balance and fruit purity very high on his agenda. The Fletcher wines are an incredible study in the enigma that is the Nebbiolo grape. As Dave has spent more time in the vineyards of Piedmont his list of wines has grown too.

The 23 Langhe Chardonnay is as sleek as ever, and easily one of the most anticipated releases on our wine calendar.  It has craggy outcrops of cashew and other nuanced nutty notes. It’s chiselled but not too smooth. There is something to hang onto, a satisfying weight but much much finer than most we see in Australia.
