The history of Evans & Tate dates back to 1971 when John Evans & John Tate first planted vines in the Swan Valley. Three years later, they purchased land and planted a vineyard in Wilyabrup, in the heart of Margaret River, which they named Redbrook.
Light and vibrant with a youthful lime green tint in colour. The nose shows lime leaf, fig, lychee and mango skin, overlaid with notes of cut grass, lime zest and white flower. Then palate is salivating, refreshing acidity bursting with lychee, lime cordial and tropical fruits. A crunchy, textural element adds complexity from a small parcel wild fermented in used French oak.
