Matured in large- and medium-format French oak (15% new) for up to 15 months. 2018 saw the most cabernet franc and malbec ever included in this wine, alongside the cabernet sauvignon and merlot. And to good effect! This is a cracker. Succulent red fruits on the palate, backed by salty spice and a frankly slinky texture. The tannins are shapely and seductive.
