The land grant on the historic Rowland Flat property was proclaimed by the Governor in 1847.
Gosh, this is a good wine. Sourced from old vines in Rowland Flat within the Barossa, the striking feature is its freshness and vibrancy, evident immediately from the nose and then confirmed into the palate. Made as a slightly medium weight wine but with tonnes of rich dark fruit. Bright satsuma plum and a little black olive nuance complete a marvelously expressive palate. I could drink a bit of this. Tasted: July 2023; Drink: 2023 - 2033; Price: $70.00; Rating: 95 Points; Ray Jordan
This is richly fruited and perfumed on the nose, showing Black Doris plum, blueberry, violet and roasted nut aromas, followed by a succulent palate displaying plump mouthfeel together with beautifully rounded tannins. Luscious and highly enjoyable. Drink: Now to 2034; Date Tasted: March 2023; Alcohol: 14.5%; Rating: 95 Points; Wine Orbit
